Vilnius is all surrounded by nature. You don’t even need to leave far from the cozy Old Town to enjoy winter outdoor fun! Put the snowshoes on and climb up the snowy hills to see breathtaking views of the city. Walk on forest trails, learn about the landscape and listen to the legends and real stories about Vilnius and its citizens. This tour is an ultimate urban outdoor activity during the winter season!

IMPORTANT: This tour is a subject to change in case of bad weather conditions. If there’s a lack of snow, you can cancel your booking or we can offer you a regular hike without snowshoes as an alternative.

Starts at 10:00 daily from NOV 24 to MAR 5 (booking at least 12h in advance is necessary)

More about the tour:

Meet the guide at the Cathedral Square and get the instructions about snowshoeing before starting the tour. Walk to the hills right next to the Old Town and beginn the snowshoe hike in the valley of Vilnia River. Climb up the chain of hills on the right bank of Vilnia. Visit monumental Three Crosses on the Crooked Hill and see the best view of Gediminas Castle and Old Town. Continue on the forest trails and have different perspectives of the city from the top of every hill. There will be some easy to moderate climbs and descents on the way and the guide will adjust the route depending on conditions. After the tour you will return to the starting point. 

Please dress accordingly to the weather conditions, wear appropriate footwear (snow boots or waterproof hiking shoes and warm socks), warm gloves and a winter jacket.
